Hey, y'all!

Yes, you're seeing correctly, your eyes are not playing tricks on you!

Yes, we were planning a wedding. A fun and unique one, at that! However, many cards kept stacking against us in the process. After many planning mishaps, other adulting responsibilities ambushing us, and the accumulating stress draining the fun out of planning a wedding...we both agreed and refused to enter this marriage with any sort of negative mindset. We should embark on this adventure with an excited, happy mindset...so we came to the decision to just elope!

Who knew two strangers who met through YouTube comments (on Casey's video, at that - shoutout and thanks to John Romero & the original id Software team for Doom II being why Samantha stumbled upon Casey all those years ago) would become friends, eventually fall in love, get married and vow to be together 'til death?!

We would also like to thank our family and friends for their love and support during this new adventure of ours. We love y'all so much and appreciate each of you. We consider ourselves very lucky and very blessed!

(while this is one of the less traditional routes into our life journey, we have been asked about a registry - we do not have one, but monetary gifts are appreciated! anything we get will go to "upgrading" household items. please note gifts are absolutely NOT expected but are very much appreciated!
